Austin Adult Entertainment: Five Ways To Tell If You’re Talking To A Dude In A Cheap Austin Motel, And Not …

Filed under: Austin adult entertainment — highheels at 1:25 pm on Tuesday, January 19, 2010

Note: This applies only at night. During daytime hours, given Austin’s traffic, the tip is that Bree Condon’s sexy love nest does not feature the sound of endlessly honking horns on I-35.
2. The room that Bree Condon is calling you from probably does not have walls so thin you can hear recent UT grads in town for a game yelling “Hook `Em!” as they do beer bongs.
To be fair, we’re actually not that familiar with Bree Condon’s social life; maybe she does hang out with beer-bonging frat boys. It’s safe to say they’d be USC fans and not Longhorn fans, though.
3. Dude: A “high-pitched voice”? Really?
This fools you? We’re thinking Homer Simpson whenever he has to pretend to be a woman. Hey, it doesn’t work for us, but whatever trips your trigger.
4. Bree Condon’s home probably doesn’t feature meth-fueled hook-ups with prostitutes.

He has been working with Haitian churches for about 40 years.Hill will lead a missions group scheduled to leave for Haiti on Jan. 28.News photos and videos of Haitian victims depict their suffering, said Carroll.
“These folks need our help,” he said. “These folks need our understanding. These folks need our compassion.”

Austin Escorts: Some Focus on the Modern Slave Trade During MLK Day

Filed under: Austin escorts — goodtimegirl at 9:00 pm on Monday, January 18, 2010

Almost 47 years have passed since Martin Luther King, Jr. made his famous “I have a dream” speech. The United states and the world have made major strides since that time, but human trafficking still has millions enslaved today.
Chair of the Flathead Valley Martin Luther King Day Community Celebration Reverend Darryl Kistler says, “27 million is almost a number that is beyond anything we can think about. That would be taking every person in Montana and multiplying us by 27 and that’s how many people are involved or enslaved by human trafficking.”
According to the U.S. State Department, trafficking exists in every single U.S. state and around the globe. Between 14,500 and 17,500 people are brought to the U.S. every single year under false pretences. Many are forced into prostitution, manual labor, and other services.

Austin Strip Clubs: Neurotic boys and sarcastic moms: 5 familiar themes of this year’s FronteraFest

Filed under: Austin strip clubs — angel at 4:36 am on Thursday, January 14, 2010

Certain art forms lend themselves well to various thematic elements: Rock music is good for both “girl, I really love you” and “girl, why don’t you love me?”; and what is performance art but finding new ways to express, “I was a middle child who didn’t get enough attention”? And fringe theater—like the kind celebrated by the annual FronteraFest, which kicks off its 17th season this week—has its own set of recurring themes. Here are some you’re sure to encounter at least a couple of times during FronteraFest’s five-week run, in both its Short and Long Fringe forms.
The Neurotic Boy Outsider
In the Long Fringe: The character of the Neurotic Boy Outsider—that lonely, sensitive fellow forever in search of a Manic Pixie Dream Girl to bring him out of his troubled shell—is one that comes naturally to the sort of male solo performer naturally drawn to fringe festivals. This year’s Long Fringe brings an appearance by New York’s Kevin Draine as “The Bitter Poet,” whose one-man-show, Looking For Love In All The Wrong Cafés, Strip Clubs, And Black Box Performance Spaces, features the most Neurotic Boy Outsider-like title ever.

The Latest in Pirate Radio: FCC Enforcement, Austin Free-Staters and Canadian Strip Club Pirate

Up in the Great White North it appears that quite a number of folks are in a tizzy over a station operated by a teenage boy out of the back of his father’s strip club in Ottawa. According to the London Free Press the station received a cease-and-desist order in early December, went off the air, then started up, and went off again on Dec. 14. Finally, on Christmas Eve, the station returned to the air, and apparently continues broadcasting.
Aside from being unlicensed there don’t seem to be any complaints about the station’s programming, which is characterized as “pop music around the clock.” Apparently the strip club has little influence, or if it does, nobody minds that.

Look out Ottawa! Strip club pirate’s gonna give you cancer while planes drop out of the sky around you!

Austin Strip Clubs: Commentary: The long wait for this Alabama fan could finally be over

Filed under: Austin strip clubs — angel at 9:24 am on Sunday, January 10, 2010

Of course, Boise State might argue that they deserve a shot at the same title. They are 14-0 — and even as an Alabama fan — I would agree. Their schedule isn’t exactly daunting, but give them a chance. They might get destroyed like Cincinnati did against Florida, but they might also pull off a shocker like they did in the Fiesta Bowl a few years over Oklahoma.
Seventeen years and seven days later — thanks to a bowl system that has effectively killed what was once one of the best traditions in sports (all the big bowl games on New Year’s Day) — Alabama is back.
It’s been a long 17 years, much of which would have made Paul “Bear” Bryant happy he was tucked away in a Birmingham grave.
The Tide has been on some sort of NCAA probation four times — all since ‘92 — and never before then. They’ve had coaches in trouble with secretaries, strippers and nightmares about what a “dream” job really is.

Austin Escorts: GOP Vulnerabilities May Help Dems Hang On To 60 Senate Seats

Filed under: Austin escorts — goodtimegirl at 8:00 am on Sunday, January 10, 2010

Florida This open seat is held by George LeMieux, who was appointed to the seat by Gov. Charlie Crist — a candidate for the seat — after first-term Sen. Mel Martinez resigned. Crist, a relative GOP moderate, is battling in a primary against the more conservative Marco Rubio. Polls have shown both of them leading Democratic Rep. Kendrick Meek — but races in Florida tend to be close once the general election really heats up. The GOP is currently favored to hold this seat, but that could change if the primary is sufficiently messy and if the Dems are well-organized for the general election.
Louisiana
Sen. David Vitter was first elected in 2004, and would probably have no difficulties at all in this conservative state except for one thing: In 2007 he was implicated in a prostitution scandal, and publicly admitted to an unspecified “serious sin.” Early polls have put Vitter ahead against Blue Dog Democratic Rep. Charlie Melancon, but under 50%. Vitter could also be chal …
