Austin Escorts: Kansas City Changes City Name To Google For All Of March
In a remarkably crass act of prostitution, Topeka has up and changed its name to Google for the month, ABS-CBN News reports. The name change is a way for the mayor to thank Google for using Topeka as a test ground for a high-speed internet network.
From the story:
Topeka Mayor William Bunten issued a proclamation declaring that, for the month of March, the Kansas capital would be known as “Google, Kansas — the capital city of fiber optics.” The official city website, Topeka.org, welcomes visitors to “The City of Google” — written in the large colorful letters the Internet search giant is known for — and includes a link to the mayor’s proclamation.
Google has a better ring than Topeka, anyway. Maybe the townsfolk will take to the new name and just roll with it.
