In the Long Fringe: The character of the Neurotic Boy Outsider—that lonely, sensitive fellow forever in search of a Manic Pixie Dream Girl to bring him out of his troubled shell—is one that comes naturally to the sort of male solo performer naturally drawn to fringe festivals. This year’s Long Fringe brings an appearance by New York’s Kevin Draine as “The Bitter Poet,” whose one-man-show, Looking For Love In All The Wrong Cafés, Strip Clubs, And Black Box Performance Spaces, features the most Neurotic Boy Outsider-like title ever.
