An Elgin man and his brother-in-law are in the Travis County Jail today accused of attempting to kidnap an employee of an Austin strip club and using a baseball bat on another strip club employee who tried to stop it.
Robert Lee Wilson, 37, and Jeremy Petty, 32, of Round Rock were charged with aggravated kidnapping, a first degree felony, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second degree felony, according to affidavits filed today.
Wilson and Petty, who is married to Wilson’s sister, are accused of conspiring to kidnap a woman who had broken up with Wilson about two weeks ago after an 11-month relationship and who was working at Palazio Men’s Club on East Ben White, the affidavit said.
