Austin Strip Clubs: Austin couple killed in North Texas crash

Filed under: Austin strip clubs — angel at 11:12 pm on Friday, January 6, 2012

A fire department dive team found a crashed 2010 Porsche Panamera sedan submerged under the canal with two people dead inside, Argumaniz said. Eddins was in the driver’s seat, and Debeuckelaer was in the passenger’s seat, he said. Both had their seat belts on.
Authorities removed the Porsche from the canal, but learned there might have been a third occupant, Argumaniz said. On Thursday, the dive team found Lark’s body, he said.
Argumaniz said their investigation indicates Lark and Debeuckelaer attended the hockey game in Dallas on Tuesday night. They were then seen at a hotel bar in Southlake, where they started talking to Eddins, Argumaniz said. He said police believe the couple did not know Eddins before that evening.
Wednesday before 1 a.m., the three left the bar together and traveled to a strip club in Dallas, Argumaniz said. They were seen leaving between 2:45 a.m. and 3 a.m., he said.

When he was asked if he had anything to do with Harvey’s death, Grady told police he wanted to speak with an attorney, the affidavit said.
A search warrant was executed at Grady’s apartment, where police found blood on the floor and on a baseball bat, officials said. Luggage matching the suitcase in the Dumpster was found in the apartment, O’Brien said.
A funeral is planned for Monday in Cedar Park for Harvey, who was described as a former Cedar Park resident and 1995 graduate of Leander High School, according to her obituary.
She was described as a “caring” person who struggled with drugs in the past. Police had said Harvey was a homeless woman who frequented the Rundberg Lane area. She had convictions for criminal trespassing and prostitution, public records show.

Police said he had been in a physical disturbance with other occupants in the apartment. Ehlert said detectives have spoken with the people involved, but the case has not progressed.
Investigators also are looking for more leads in the death of 29-year-old Sherrill Lynn McBride in August, which homicide Sgt. Hector Reveles said at the time was “brutal” and believed to be sexually motivated.
McBride was found dumped in a grassy field in the 3100 block of Gonzales Street in East Austin on Aug. 12, officials said. McBride was homeless and had a previous arrest for prostitution, according to public records.
Police had been searching for a small black pickup, driven by a man, that was seen in the area when McBride’s body was found, Reveles said. He said the man was picking up prostitutes in the area and is not considered a suspect at this time but that police are looking for him.

Austin Adult Entertainment: Texas police focus on prison gang

Filed under: Austin adult entertainment — highheels at 1:49 pm on Tuesday, December 27, 2011

… You are talking about people with skills in the drug trade, who are willing to do violence, acting as one unit,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Elizabeth Cottingham said. “You want to keep them from getting out of control.”
A 63-page affidavit with some details of the investigation was unsealed earlier this month after a federal judge sentenced 16 suspected gang members to prison. Nine of them have received sentences of at least 20 years.
Hause said it’s not clear whether the gang’s influence will continue to grow. Its ranks on the outside world are dependent on the release of members from Texas prisons, where the gang was formed in the 1980s to provide protection to those who join. Once outside, they deal in drugs, contract killings, prostitution, robbery, gambling and weapons. Its president, Heriberto Huerta, is serving life at a federal prison in Colorado but investigators believe he’s still able to give orders.
